Meta Glasses: My New Favorite Tool

I bought the Meta AI glasses to capture POV footage of my upholstery and woodworking journey, and y’all—I'm in LOVE.

I didn’t expect the sound quality to be this good. I find myself reaching for them over my AirPods, especially when I’m multitasking around the studio. It’s wild how freeing it feels to document hands-free. No mounts. No holding up your phone. No pausing to frame a shot.

That said, they’re not perfect. There’s no viewfinder, and you can’t adjust the aspect ratio or focal length. I’m still figuring out the best ways to use the cameras to capture the behind-the-scenes magic. And yeah, I definitely should’ve gotten my prescription put in, because squinting when doing non-workshop stuff is not the vibe. But overall? 10/10 would recommend if you’re a maker who loves storytelling. 🤓😎
