Found a great chair. Now what?
Join niCo of House of Nambili for a small, hands-on beginner upholstery workshop on Saturday, October 17, 2026, 11:00 AM–2:00 PM in Douglasville, Georgia. Bring one approved small upholstered piece and learn to assess, document, carefully remove, and rebuild its upholstery with guidance. No experience required.
One seat: $185. Limited seating. Four paid registrations are required for the workshop to run.
Good candidates include removable dining chair seats, small footstools, simple benches, and similarly straightforward pieces. We cannot accept springs, deep tufting, extensive sewing, major structural repairs, mold, pests, or unsafe frames. Piece approval happens after purchase and before workshop day.
Your seat includes hands-on instruction, use of manual staple guns and staple pullers, with staples and Dacron provided for workshop use, and a take-home process checklist. Bring your approved piece and selected upholstery fabric; fabric and major replacement materials are not included. We will send fabric guidance after reviewing your piece.
After purchase: Email photos of the front, back, underside, and any damage; overall dimensions; a short project description; and your fabric plan to info@houseofnambili.com, with your order number. We will review fit and next steps before the event. Registration does not automatically approve every piece.
The exact venue address will be shared after confirmation. If the four-person minimum is not met, registrants will be contacted about a refund or transfer option.
