Giving a cherished piece new life is an investment. Our process is designed to be intentional, transparent, and collaborative, ensuring your furniture’s journey is as seamless as the final stitching.
Phase 1: The Vision & Consultation
This is where your project begins. We take the time to deeply understand your piece, your style, and your goals.

Book Your Consult: Start by scheduling a 30–45 minute consultation. We will discuss the piece’s history, structure, your desired aesthetics, and budget.
- Note: The $25 consultation fee is fully credited toward your final project total.
- Design & Fabric: We explore options, including our curated selection of custom and wax print fabrics, or discuss using your own (COM). We finalize color palettes and patterns to match your vision.
- Final Quote: After the consultation, you will receive a comprehensive, personalized quote outlining all labor, materials, and a projected timeline, including the cost of pickup/delivery, if selected.
Phase 2: The SewFresh Workshop
Once the design is approved and secured, your furniture enters our studio. This is the stage where skilled craftsmanship transforms your piece structurally and aesthetically.
Project Secured: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your project slot and order all materials.
Deconstruction & Inspection: The piece is carefully stripped down to its frame. We go beyond simple re-covering—we inspect the springs, padding, and structure, making necessary repairs to ensure the ultimate integrity and longevity of your investment.
Craftsmanship: Your project is handled with meticulous care. Every piece is measured, cut, and stitched by hand to ensure a perfect fit that honors the furniture’s original form while reflecting your unique style.
Timeline: Lead times are project-dependent, but once materials are in hand, you can expect an estimated turnaround of 2–5 weeks. We will confirm a precise schedule with your quote.
Phase 3: The Reveal & Enjoyment
The transformation is complete. The only step left is getting the newly resurrected piece into your home.

Final Audit: We conduct a final quality check to ensure every seam, cushion, and detail meets our exacting standards.

Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance of the project total is due upon completion, prior to handover.

Pickup & Delivery: You have two options:

Self-Service: Drop off and pick up your piece at our studio at no additional cost.

Full Service: We offer professional pickup and delivery for a $200 fee, which is included in your initial quote for transparency.
