The story behind my Handmade Resin-Sealed Fabric Sculptures

I created the first Nambili Pillow Stone after losing my engagement and wedding rings. I needed a safe, intentional place to set down my jewelry — a resting place I could trust. That spark became these tiny sculptures.

Each Pillow Stone is handmade in the Atlanta metro area using African wax print or MudCloth from my studio, then sealed in glossy resin.

More than a jewelry rest, they are versatile art objects you can use as:

• A safe place for rings + earrings
• A cup holder or coaster
• A desk companion or paperweight
• A tactile accent that celebrates heritage textiles
