Handmade Wax Print Sketchbook

Each sketchbook is a little piece of art in itself. I started binding books as another way to work with my hands, and what better way to use the fabric remnants in my studio than to give them new life as covers?

These sketchbooks are wrapped in vibrant African wax print or MudCloth and finished by hand. Some are bound traditionally, while others feature exposed Japanese-style stitching that lays flat and highlights the craftsmanship of bookbinding.

Whether you use it for sketching, journaling, or as a keepsake notebook, each one-of-a-kind book carries the spirit of heritage textiles and handmade craft.
